Cookie Cutter Love
Right in time for Valentine’s Day, my friend, Charis, found these lovely cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma. The cookies seem to come out nicely understated.
We had lunch with Justin and Charis today, since we are leaving Jackson in just two days (!!!) and were treated to a delicious lentil soup on brown rice. We will miss them, and all of our friends in Jackson!
Sorry to have gone missing for so long; it seems my days are filled with packing, dealing with moving trucks, transferring utilities, trying to find a job in Austin and the like. I am not complaining though, as it all is part of the great adventure. We are truly excited about our new house, locale, and life, but it is always bittersweet to say goodbye to the old. Fortunately, good friends remain friends regardless of where you live, so I know that is not a goodbye to our friends as much it is a departure from taking for granted our their kindness and loyalty.
